In the early 1900s, the founder of Carter Leather died but his descendants didn't inherit his wealth. Instead, the Grants did. Since then, the Carters and Grants grew apart. They couldn't be friends anymore as much as they wanted to. That night that the grandfather died changed the destinies of both familes.
Carter Leather eventually closed down in the early 1920s. The Grants used the inheritance to start an underground brothel and became increasingly prosperous through the generations. On the other hand, the Carters had to start their lives afresh. They were hardworking but never gained the wealth that they used to have.
'The Carters and Grants are enemies.' is the first rule that every member of the families knows. There is a long history of fights between both families through the generations but the reason behind it has been long forgotten.
Freedom. Tragedy. Love. Life.
What will it take to break the rule? Will they be able to seek for what they wish for?How far will they go to get what they desire most? When will the fight ever end?
Before you get in:
- FC requests/changes/ideas are welcome but they may not always be approved. But do send us a message non-anonymously if you want to discuss something.
- Reserves can be made for 24 hours. This doesn’t mean you’ll be accepted but it just means that a decision will be made only after your audition’s in.
- No models. Don’t ask.
- If you’re interested in a character but would like to tweak something in his/her personality/plotline, feel free to ask.
- There are no endgames although we may have a character interested/has a crush on someone else etc.
- This is a mature roleplay so smut and darker themes may be involved in this. Of course, post smut under read mores.
- Try to submit your sample paras in character or if you can’t, try to submit a sample para of a character with personality traits similar to the one you’re applying for.
After you get in:
- Create your account within 24 hours (inform us if you can’t) once your application has been accepted and send us a message with it.
- No OOC drama. It’s immature. We all just want to have fun. Create and you’re out.
- Inactivity of 3 days will cost your character to be reopened. Of course, it’s understandable if you have problems getting on sometimes but please inform us through the ‘ask box’ beforehand. I don’t want the rp to die. (Posting pictures are not counted.)
- Interact with everyone even though they may not be directly involved in your plotline. This doesn’t mean that you have to talk to everyone at the same time but you shouldn’t discriminate any character.
- You’re allowed to have more than one character if you can manage it.
- NO GODMODDING. You know why. It’s not cool so don’t do it.
- If you’re going to deactivate your account, please send us an ask beforehand.
- Reblog as text, not links.
- Quality para-ing please. Although quality is more important than quantity, it would be preferred if paras were at least 400 words long.
